IWD 2019

Proudly supporting our clients on International Women’s Day 2019

This year, we are wishing the very best of luck to all those organising campaigns and events to mark the day. We know our clients Dress for Success Dublin, Dublin Chamber, and Alice PR & Events are particularly busy in the lead-up to IWD!

This year, our client Dress for Success Dublin will continue to support women on their journey to employment by holding their annual clothing and fundraising campaign to coincide with International Women’s Day.

Dress for Success empowers women economically by giving them the clothing and skills they need to succeed at job interviews and in the workplace.

Last year, over 55 workplaces supported the organisation’s IWD campaign, ranging from SMEs to state agencies and multinationals. You can read all about last year’s campaign here.

To mark International Women’s Day, Dublin Chamber is hosting a networking and learning event on Wednesday, 6th March, from 5:30pm to 8pm at The Morrison Hotel, Ormond Quay, Dublin 1.

This will bring more than 200 female business owners and entrepreneurs together. The expert panel of speakers for the event includes: Aoife D’Arcy, founder of The Analytics Store; and Tracey O’Rourke, Chief Executive of Vivid Edge.
At the event, speakers will discuss their careers, including their highlights and setbacks, as well as offering advice to business leaders. Attendees will also have a chance to ask questions. To learn more, click here.

Another Computerology client that’s being kept busy in the lead-up to IWD is Alice PR & Events.

As a PR agency, Alice works with a range of their own clients on campaigns and events to mark International Women’s day each year. The company also finds time to have its own IWD celebration: this year, the plan is for a staff breakfast the week after 8th March for their female (and male!) colleagues. They will reflect on IWD 2019 with a morning full of pastries, teas, coffees and cakes.
We’re sure there are lots of other Computerology clients marking IWD this year. If you’re planning something, let us know. In the meantime, we wish you all a great International Women’s Day 2019!
